Oh my gosh. I am soo excited right now! My good friend Heather asked me to go to Disney World with her in September and since September IS my birthday month (I am turning 30!) I am treating myself! So for the first time since I was 5 years old, this Disney freak is FINALLY gonna get to go.
I would love to hear any advice and what you all think are things that I just should not miss!
Oh and did you see my awesome countdown? -------------->
I am so happy to finally be able to have one of those =)
Woo hoo!!! I am so excited for you! I hope to make it there someday. Maybe the next Mousescrappers meet. Can't wait to hear all about it when you return!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting!! I'm totally jealous! I really want to go back to WDW, but I don't think I could handle the heat in September.
ReplyDeleteTanya--that is the BEST news! woot! you will absolutely love , love love it! what a fantastic 30th bday present. you and Heather will have a blast!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you haven't gone since you were five. It would kill me to always see those count downs--so happy for you that you have one!!! I'm a thrill rider so for me those are do-not-miss. And, you HAVE to get your picture with Mickey. I probably don't need to mention a Mickey bar:)You are going to have such fun!
ReplyDeleteI'll be there too! Can't wait to meet you.
ReplyDeleteYay for you! That is super exciting news. I should be around that week too. I look forward to meeting you and Heather! I know you will have a fabulous time! Melinda
ReplyDeleteYeaaa! We have Disney season passes! Everything the Magic Kingdom rocks...I really liked eating in "the Land" in Epcot. Actually, I really enjoyed all of Epcot - except Norway...don't eat in Norway. If you're going to do Hollywood Studios, get there first thing in the AM and do Toy story. That's the funnest thing there. If you like coasters. The yeti ride in the Animal Kingdom is the BOSS! And the nemo show in Animal kingdom is totally worth it. Our family got meal vouchers when we spent a week there. For kids it was less than $20 bucks a day and for adults it was like $40, but you get one "sit down meal" one "counter meal" (like regular fast food) and one snack. All the meals include dessert and drink, so a lot of time at my counter meal, we'd get a cookie or something else that was wrapped, and throw it in the backpack to eat later. I know you might be able to eat for less than $40 a day, but you're not going to be getting to eat at some of the fun restaurants or getting things like a big salad or something like that. It's worth looking into. Are you staying at a Disney resort or off? We have done both. The on site ones are nice, and they feel close, but if you stay off site, it's a little cheaper, and you can park at Downtown Disney and still ride Disney transportation to whatever park you want to go to. We stayed at a Holiday inn near highway 27. It's a 20 minute drive to downtown disney, but we stayed for $70 a night.
